Akata Durukasana

A daughter of a Meako officer in the Western Kingdom of Huaka, Akata was the model girl of the Huakan military elite. Still deconstructing the trauma of growing up in a militarized society, Akata is learning to give others their space and communicate in a healthy way. Akata is still be disciplined, courteous, and ambitious, and sees Eora Sarana and Potha Sarana as inspirations to always improve herself. Former member of House Eagle.
Akata is a former rival, close friend, and romantic partner of Potha Sarana - and has formed a similar romantic relationship with Eora, the other polyamorous partner of Potha from her time in Loanua. 
Akata, like her parents, is a skilled warrior and defender of Loanua. She is a capable Meako mage, able to cast spells and do good lance work atop her giant eagle. She is a devout follower of Red Weniko - the belief that only purifying violence can restore the spiritual balance of the island. She has learned to be more mature and considerate in her approach to violence and who "belongs" on the island since her time in school (when she hated all non-Humans as colonizers), but she retains the same passionate desire for freedom. 
Akata, like Eora Sarana, decided to stay on the island to keep fighting to protect it even though she knows that the world is burning.
