History
The Mandir's history is surprisingly sparse considering the important role it's played in Hafizi society, especially during the Flodur Dynasty. Perhaps it is because that which is spoken in the debate battles is meant to be in the service of truth, the experiential realization of truth... and the sattva ether truth that is striven for in the Mandir is ever flowing and changing. Thus to codify and archive that which is said within the Mandir is to put in stasis that which is meant to be written on water. But it has always been that the great Houses of Hafiz could name intellectual champions who would represent them in debate battles that resolved inter house squabbles and important burning issues. The victors in these debates are recorded in The Archive of the Crone, along with the statements released by the Academy (through the High Mystic) that are the societal implications of the debate results. These written statements are shared directly with the Master of Law, who brings these writings to the Sun Throne through the Small Council.
