Dragonborn

Lizardfolk who underwent the blood rituals of the Primal Dragon's brood. Only exceptional Dragonborn are able to tap into their latent potential and fully awaken the gifts of their heritage. Doing so is seen as a sign of future greatness and all of the Dragonborn heroes from stories and legends had a strong command of these talents. The Dragonborn tribes of Novalon have historically pledged themselves for life to wise and powerful lords of the noble houses. While the exact criteria for earning this pledge varies from tribe to tribe, we know one of the criteria for earning this honor is slaying a dragon. Such feats are uncommon and it has been some time since last a noble house earned this honor. Other communities of Dragonborn live off the mainland of Terra on island communities. The experiences, religions, and attitudes of these vary drastically from the Dragonborn of Novalon. Many revere Abraxis or Taijin although despite being very new and introducing a lot of revolutionary thoughts to Dragonborn society, the fledgling faith of Zaur has enjoyed a warm welcome and is strong in the Dragonborn community. Many choose to pursue the path of Monk to better master their bodies and the gifts of their ancestry.
