Zaur

It is said that Zaur started life as a simple Beetle raised for competition in small scale arena battles. Legend has it that the legendary Monk Relis saw his potential and accepted him as his first student. Diligently training the small student until his Ki and life energy grew. After the Black King Crisis, it is said that under Relis's tutelage and the magic wielded by the Monk's allies the legendary Obsidian Guard, he was able to transcend his body and take the form of a Dragonborne.

Zaur's path did not stop there, he continued to train under Relis learning all he could. Once Relis had departed the Material Plane Zaur's training continued as he pursued the arts of meditation and spiritual awakening as well as perfecting the body. There is a theory that because his first awakening from Beetle to Dragonborne, occurred during the Psonic Awakening that a profound potential and understanding of the nature of Ki was implanted deep within his soul. Whatever the case may be through physical discipline and meditation Zaur achieved enlightenment and in doing so ascended to become a God. As a deity he is the Patron of Monks and claims the domain of Self Improvement, Self Knowledge, and the Pursuit of Perfection.
