The birth of the dark elves and their nation

A painful period of time for elves or a necessary one depending on your viewpoint. This is the time when more and more high elves began to voice their support for Plutoria and others began to riot and conspire against the crown of Selwen. Authorities of Selwen began to crack down on the groups and violent religious sects began sprouting on both sides. After a foiled plot to kill the royal family by the anarchist group known as the Brass Ravens, the noble families called for action. Fearing a civil war similar to the Dwarves the Selwen monarch (At the time King Elaran Shields), called for a meeting with High Priestess Epheryn Duskryn the most notable and outspoken proponent of the rioters and protesters. Of initial meetings only one thing was agreed; the violence was not going to stop soon. After many more incidents including one led by Lady Epheryn, many of the Elves violently freed others which were imprisoned by the Monarch and fled Selwen. A large force was sent to capture the refugees and aid was called for Raelon. When both armies caught up to refugees at the borders of the Darken Wood, they were surprised to find an army of Plutoria emerge from the Wood. As the stories go, a single black coach road to the Selwen Monarch and discussion was had between the King and the Grand Vizier of Plutoria. After which the group was granted entrance into Plutoria yet all the refugees were exiled and told if they or any of their children returned to Slewen they would be put to death.
