A powerful Druid named Sarfir began to rise to power amongst the tribes of Phoviel. He was more militant than many of the other tribal leaders and spoke out about some of the transgressions of the other nations, particularly Legalla. In secret he began to organize tribes and conclaves to get ready for war. He led a coup against the current Queen of Phoviel, Nareese Ruellia, and imprisoned her in her own grove. He led a shadow government and declared open war on Legalla with himself as Commandant of the Timberland. He led vast armies of wood elves, treekin, and beastfolk across Legalla in a devastating war. He used powerful druids to tear villages and towns apart, leaving nothing remaining so nature could retake it. This war lasted a long time, too long according to many who fought it. Leagalla fought back with a fierce determination but it was Phoviel rising up and eliminating Safir that the war came to a swift end.
