Pendle
Pendle is a small settlement with a lot of ex-Norcastlites from before the war. Like Greenmill, many refused to return to the city and instead set up small settlements some miles out. Pendle is fairly active with travellers from sitting on the main route from Cliffbeach to Norcastle.

A large inn for travellers and adventurers. It's where you go to make some coin, find a brawl, meet a lover, and everything in between. The street outside ominously quiet and empty. The tavern is a wooden multi storey building, with an orange shingled roof and a small vegetable garden and cart parking area. It contains curtains draped over the walls and a large harp by the hearth. It's known for selling Egg Ramen with Sharp Cheese and a Tankard of Ale (5 sp), Oxen Sandwich with Bread and a Tankard of Cider (5 sp) Mutton Pie and a Tankard of Beer (4 sp).Krimmon's Tavern
Owner: Krimmon Bigheart, Male Halfling Location: In a market district. The street outside is shaded by large trees and is a covered walkway with many twinkling lights. Description: The tavern is a wooden simple building, with large windows and tile flooring. Several battered shields hang on the walls. It contains an empty cage and a small stage for performers. Owner: Uthemar Aloro, Male Elf. Location: The street outside is shaded by large trees and usually has a beggar harassing passers-by. Uthemar is too soft on him. Description: The blacksmith is a timber and brick simple building, with a green tile roof and a smooth stone floor. Description: The alchemist is a brick two-storey building, with several shuttered windows and a pillared curved-roof entryway. It contains a crossbow sitting on the counter and rolled up recipes scattered on the floor.
