Lyra Strikes Out Alone

Ever independent, Lyra left behind the nomadic Swampers who had taken her in to wander the swamps alone.
During this time she roamed without any particular goal or direction, educating herself - not only in the ways of the wilds, but plundering abandoned settlements and camps for books, with which she taught herself to read and write.
At some point during this time she built Her Hut in the wilderness West of Drifoote.
