Ordinances of Granmont

Granmont's legal system is a disorganized patchwork of policy from the church, crown, and guilds.   The Ordinances of Granmont refers to the legaslative documents passed by the Crown. These documents regulate "boilerplate" crimes like theft, violence, and fraud. They also establish standards for governence, such as the each Arrondissement of Granmont being commanded by an Intendant.   With the weakening of the central crown in The Trial of the Marquisse Baron Baudelaire the future of ordinances is unclear, and many civic leaders have expressed concerned over the city's inability to adjust to imminent social and technological developments.
