Baron Baudelaire
The Baron Octave Bertrand Nolan Baudelaire is the rightful ruler of the region of Baudelaire, as ordained by the Golden Flame and one thousand years of tradition. With no legitimate living heirs at nearly sixty, it becomes increasingly plausible that he will be the last.
The former Sovereign of the Baudelair region. In recent years, jaded and indecisive by decades of the weight of ruling, he's allowed the Beaumonts to capture a chokehold on the city in exchange for the 'comforts' they can offer him. The Baron, as well as his faithful Steward M. Autheri, were both apprehended at the Hidden Pygmy and currently are under house arrest, being confined to the north wing of Seat Baudelaire.

He was overlooked for his older brother Louis Phillip until the oler boy's death at 15. Four tense and formative years after that his father died, and his mother never recovered.
