Sovereign

Whomever controls the authority of the Barony is the Sovereign, the ruler with ultimate authority in Baudelaire. For nearly four decades prior to Pygmygate this was the Baron Baudelaire; after the noble ruler was removed from power the crown shifted to the Procureur, who was given the Sovereigny in interim pending the investigation. Who will end up with the sovereigny in the end is the question on the mind of every politically aware citizen in the city.
