Vess’ka have difficulty finding armor. Cost x2 base.
Natural Armor: Carapace carries a natural +3 AC Bonus and rolls a d8 on the fumble table. Any armor worn must be fitted.
Alignment: Vess’ka have a nuanced social order, or “Kivram,” and tend to be lawful.
Magic: Innate use of Charm Person through their enthralling music. 1 per day/per level. No spell burn. No corruption.
Caster level: Same as Vess’ka Level. Uses Intelligence.
Vibration Sense: 60’ “tremor-sense” from antennae.
Limited Telepathy: Vess’ka have 400’ 1-way telepathy and may (additionally) use this to communicate with insects.
Carrying Capacity: Vess’ka can carry 2x the average human.
Torpor: Vesss’ka do not require sleep and are not affected by magical Sleep.
Extra Limbs (Eretas): Vesss’ka begin with the 2-Weapon Fighting Benison, at no cost. Does not effect Benison maximum. Two-weapon attacks are as if AGI = 18 (1st die normal, 2nd die at -1 step on the die chain).
Spider Climb (Mitras): Mitras may climb walls at 10’ per round, using their millipede-like legs.

Action Dice may be used either for attacks or innate abilities.
Luck: Modifier applies to one specific kind of weapon.

Speak with Insect Hives: The average Vess’ka can communicate simple messages (basic thoughts, emotions, influence) to groups of insects possessing a hive mind.
Secret Lore: Vess’ka are worshipped as gods by certain insect hives, and they take this position seriously. They attempt to provide for their “flock” to the best of their ability. Vess’ka are also one of only two native races (alongside humans) from Gothenya. Their native language consists of musical notes only producible from their spiracles, and is considered breathtakingly beautiful to other species.
