After taking over the Davenport Publishing House, he turned the publishing house into one of the largest in the United States within ten years and the Daily Planet into a national newspaper that also enjoys a high reputation abroad.
He himself became one of the most influential publishing magnates in the USA.
Failures & Embarrassments
Charles is extremely displeased that, despite his achievements in the publishing world, he has been passed over several times when it comes to choosing another member of the vampiric line in the family.
He feels personally embarrassed that he was passed over for two Argentinians who were not even part of the family.
