Sol Invictus - The Unconquered Sun
The Sol Invictus are a disciplined and secretive organization led by a powerful council. These warriors, clerics, and paladins are bound by their devotion to the eternal light of their god. While they are a structured military force, their core mission is to shield the world from encroaching shadows and to spread the light’s radiance wherever darkness thrives. Their members are rigorously trained in both combat and divine magic, with a deep connection to the sun and its symbolic purity. Every action they take is done in pursuit of maintaining the balance of light and driving out the forces of corruption. Though they are led by a council of powerful figures known as the Sunward Council, the Zenith of Radiance holds ultimate authority, capable of overriding any decision from the council if the light's purity or their ultimate mission is at stake.
Structure
The Zenith holds final authority in all matters of the faith, and the Sunward Council supports them in executing decisions. The orders themselves train their members in combat, magic, and divine teachings, ensuring that they remain disciplined and focused on the light’s ultimate goal.
Public Agenda
Sol Invictus serves as the ultimate defense against darkness, both literal and metaphorical. They are the front lines in the fight against corruption, bringing light and divine will to bear in their mission to purify the world. While their primary role is protection, they are also a militant order that ensures the faith remains pure and dominant, challenging anyone who would dare bring evil into the world. Sol Invictus also operates as a force of divine justice, bringing the light’s will to bear on those who defy or corrupt the natural order. Whether through formal trials or direct intervention, they enforce the purity of their god’s teachings and seek to eliminate any that would defile the sanctity of the world.

The Dawn
- They are the keepers of the dawn, representing the hope of the rising sun and the strengthening of the light. They focus on restoring and protecting through divine magic, leading through benevolent leadership and healing. The dawn are clerics that have asecnded to a higher level of the faith.
- They are the might of the light, using their power to fight against the forces of darkness. Known for their skill in both magic and combat, they are the frontlines of any battle against the dark. The Zenith are the Paladins of the light that have taken lifetime vows and strike down in the name of the light without question.
- Representing the setting sun, they focus on the transition of the setting sun to night. They are the strategists, diplomats, and negotiators, working in the grey areas to ensure that light always triumphs. Typically these are the politicians and leadership style roles making decisions, but some lean more towards espionage and spy work.
- Known for their devastating power, they represent the moment when light is tested by the darkness. Eclipse warriors are rare and powerful, combining light’s destructive force to overcome the darkness. They are used as weapons of last resort to strike fear into the forces of evil and sometimes in their might cause more problems than not.
Divine Origins
Soon after the great eclipse that darkend Hacuito, the Zenith decided that in order to prevent this from happening again that they would build up a group that exists within (but outside) of the faith to protect against such acts of darkness. Through ritual and refining power, these clerics and paladins have been granted additional powers and capabilities outside of normal followers of the faith.
