Felotl God of Light

Felotl is the original god of light and his counter balance is the goddess of darkness. He is somewhat forgetful and has a whimsical side to him and enjoys the lesser things of life, not focusing on the bigger picture. As the light always climbs up into the sky so will Felotl as a given and he takes it for granted. He does not see people as play things like some of the god's do but as extentions of himself wishing that he could go on their adventures and experience life like that. Although sad, he does harbor a slight bit of jealousy for the times that Angelina fell and walked the world; however, when he does choose to walk the world he typically finds himself in taverns and cansinos enjoying the finer qualities of life.

Personal history

Felotl was born in the arid expanse of Nauquan's desert in 377, a commoner who lived a humble life amidst sand and sun. As a youth, Felotl found joy in the simplicity of games, often devising crude games of chance with travelers and villagers. His wife Tlahuina who was a weaver known for her intricate designs was his anchor—a symbol of stability amidst his otherwise unpredictable pursuits. Felotl was deeply rooted in his community, known for his charisma and his penchant for risk-taking; however, the trajectory of his life changed irreversibly when the murder of Tyshala, goddess of darkness by her sister Krorone Goddess of Darkness who at the time was a child of the light left the divine mantle vacant. With Krorone's punishment to replace her sister the goddess of creation searched for someone to replace the current goddess of light and found someone that was the exact opposite of Krorone and thus a human, Felotl was chosen—a mortal of unassuming origins, now burdened with the weight of godhooddess.

Failures & Embarrassments

When he returned to Tlahuina and conceived a child, the joy was short-lived. The child, born of mortal and divine essence, was feared by the pantheon and mortal realm alike. Malrath God of Destruction viewed this being as a threat to cosmic balance and orchestrated its erasure from existence. Felotl's grief and rage were immeasurable and though he couldn't save his child this event deepened his resolve to protect life and light against senseless annihilation. The loss defined his empathy for mortals who endure suffering despite their fragile nature. It also instilled a simmering defiance toward Krorone blaming her for the consequences that had befallen him; had it not be for her he would have never become a god and he would have been able to live in peace with his child.
