Meggalor Mill

A lush, isolated village tucked deep between mountain passes and river cliffs. Blossoming fields line its edges, and massive, moss-covered aqueducts carry water into the town and its central fertilizer refinery — a towering, vine-wrapped facility known for powering agriculture across the territory. The town itself is extremely peaceful, and visitors sometimes speak of an atmosphere of euphoric bliss when they are there.

Demographics

The town consists of mostly humans around 85% with the remaining a mixture of elven, dwarven, and a few goliaths.

Government

Verdin Solari, a revered druid and spiritualist who publicly claims to “commune directly with Ilmos.” There are no written laws. All decisions flow from Verdin’s “natural wisdom.” Disputes are rare, settled through quiet mediation and emotional “grounding sessions.” Outsiders think of it as utopian paradise.

Industry & Trade

Their primary export is the Meggolar Gold Fertilizer that is spread throughout the entire territory. It is guaranteed to grow any type of plant life as if the very hand of Ilmos is tending to the fields. The fertilizer is distributed via carts through emissaries and trusted delivery agents. They also export potent herbal teas (such as Maiden Tea), soil enhancers, and fungal spore blends and typically take very few imports. The town is self-sufficient on the off chance of needing specific types of wood, ink, or books.

Infrastructure

A massive vine-covered aqueduct brings mountain stream water to the village and factory. Roads are cobbled with moss growing between each stone, maintained by laborers. Root-veined gutters carry excess moisture and bio-waste into underground composting tunnels. A central “Heart Grove” connects the druid's home, the nursery, and the factory — all via hidden pathways under a network of flowering trees.

Districts

Greenstem Ward: Residential zone, peaceful homes shaped with gentle druidic magic; flowerbeds in perfect bloom.

The Heart Grove: Central sacred space where Verdin speaks and meditations are held.

The Fertilarium (Factory): Massive industrial root-factory where the fertilizer is processed, mixed, packaged, and shipped.

Assets

The mill produces world-renowned bio-organic fertilizer, prized across the Verdantia Territory. They also provide Unmatched efficiency — they produce more per worker than any other town as far as production goes. All the townsfolk are hardworking.

History

The mill town was founded around 600 years ago by a group of pilgrims looking to create a pure and agricultural commune nestled between the mountains and river. Verdin Solari arrived around 70 years ago and within 10 years turned the town into a prosperous community. Many visitors speak of its surreal peace and comfort and some older adventurers see it as a retirement home where they can return to a simple life.
