When she turned 12 she was apprenticed to the itinerant preacher Mork Two-Chains.
The Beginning of Unlife
The local chapter of Anubis was accused of being traitors to the crown and promoting false information about people in power. A group of brigands hired by the Head Priest were sent to sack Alyra's home. She attempted to flee but was hit by a bolt and began to lose a lot of blood. She collapsed into a crawl in a strange grove. Some force bound to her dying soul and offered her a second life. It demanded she drink of a pool of blood that had formed in the center of the garden. She went and supped of it and began to regain her strength.Her body had transformed, her once golden hair going a ashen silver and her skin going a ghostly white. Her body no longer felt warm.
To avoid being associated with her family, that had been murdered, she changes her name to Lucia Sanguis.
Life as a Vampire
Lucia flees to the woodlands northeast of Brevoy living amonst the Stolen Lands for some time. She gets up the courage to return to civilization and finds herself seeking arms and armor...she eventually finds a Town. needing to go there to gather information about what happened and where she might find Morc. but she knew here appearance will make her stand out. so she decided to visit at night where there are less people to notice her lack of shadow and her appearance. there she steals a cloak someone forgot they had on a drying rack. she would then go to a lonely arms shop. She goes inside to find a shop keeper that sells weapons and armor. "Evening" the keeper greets her " what bring you here tonight?" Lucia nervous about being noticed about being a vampire keeps her hood up and her head low to avoid eye contact and answers " just in the need for some equipment and information". Lucia does not yet know what has happened to her family and why the chapter (she knew it was the chapter but does not know why yet) she looks a round and finds a Kyoketsu-shoge (the weapon she has now) and also finds the cloak of needles. she asks for them and the owner puts it infront of her on the table and tells her the price. Lucia then replies " I hope this is enough" and gives him jewellery she had on her at the time of the attack, the owner replies "wow what beautiful pieces! where did you get them from?" as he holds them close to his eye with a small eye eyepiece as if to inspect them, Lucia replies "They are a family family heirloom", they where a gift for her 22nd birthday from her mother. The shopkeeper relies "well they are in really good condition and the craftsmen ship is nothing I have seen, they are simply too much!" and offers the Kyoketsu-shoge and the cloak with some gold in change. Lucia asks about what happened to the lord that lived in the Mansion (where she lived) that lived in that Mansion. The shop keeper replies "Oh that incident, it was quite tragic am afraid. There was a large group of bandits that raided the place in the dead of night. Killing the family that lived there and setting the place on fire, at least thats what the Local chapter of the church disclosed. Not much information on who or what they where after, or even who they worked for, but all I can say is that it was some nasty business,
