King Tafari Eratos

King Tafari Eratos was the ruler of the Kingdom of Laterre, generally beloved by his subjects. Not always so with his council of advisors, who were not keen on his policy on providing land for the forlorn elves to the west.

Family Ties
- Queen Helia Eratos - Her half-elven heritage and association with the tribes of forlorn elves to the west of the kingdom prompted King Eratos to lend them aid.
- Prince Solin - Eldest child, groomed for knighthood and one day to become King. Excellent swordsman, still a bit headstrong. The "brawn" of the children.
- Prince Ralos - Second oldest, scholarly. Constantly goaded Solin by questioning the wisdom of his actions. Quick-witted. Enjoyed watching Solin grow flustered at trying to outthink him. Easily the "brains" of the children.
- Princess Aster - The middle child. Well-spoken, personable, seemed to have a genuine connection with anyone she came in contact with. A politician in the making. Considered the "voice".
- Prince Sisu - The second youngest child, considered "the willpower".
- Princess Dilay - The youngest child. Her name means "beautiful moon". Fearless. When a group of bandits captured a clan of elves looking for sanctuary, Dilay went on on her own (with her adopted sister Kumiko ) and rescued them. To show their appreciation, the elven swordsman Oberon Thornhide agreed to train her further.
