Personal history

Molo Varn was born in a Kobold tribe in the mountains of Urrathgrad. When he reached his teenage years (age 4), he was given a wholly unique job due to his absurd size and strength, "Bear hearder." An issue that the tribe originally had was that Urrathgrad has many bears roaming around the area the cave entrance. Molo was given a really big stick and was to scare off the Bears by swinging it at them. Molo worked in this "job" until 2337wr, when he managed to actually kill one. In the heat of the moment, he spent the rest of the day carving out the bear and cooking the meat.   Nearby, a band of 6 Dwarves where patrolling the perimeter of the mountain, looking for new places to expand their clan's mining business to the other side of the range. They've been searching for a good mine entrance for weeks, had run out of food, was forbidden to hunt the wild life, and were planning on heading back to Hilvastra, when they happened upon Molo's small camp. They saw the amount of meat he had, and came to the decision that they need to get the meat with minimal damage to the Kobold. Their plan was to have one of them challenge the Kobold to a fight, which should scare him off, and let them take the meat for free. So, Skavel Stelvekan, the strong-man of the band, emerged from the darkness and challenged Molo to a fist fight for the meat. To everyone's surprise, Molo accepted. The rest of the band sat and watched, expecting Molo to be knocked out in a single punch. Molo ended up wrestling Skavel to the ground, struck him 5 times, and ended up knocking Skavel unconscious. His band, so utterly dumbfounded at what just happened to Skavel, came out from the woods, took their unconscious leader, and left a Battle Axe at Molo's feet. Molo finished his great meal, and went back home.   Molo Varn would continue hearing and even hunting bears, but now with his Battleaxe. He turned his small camp into his own hideout. 2 weeks after encountering the Dwarves, Molo had encountered them again. Skavel immediately confronting Molo, demanding his axe back. Skavel's younger brother, Tashk Stelvekan, reminded him that losing a duel means that he needed to give the victor one of his crafted items, and they grabbed one of his battle axes as Molo's reward, and that demanding the item back without dueling for it goes against clan rules. Skavel would once again challenge Molo to a fight, with the knowledge that he can actually fight. After almost 2 minutes of throwing fists, Molo Varn would win only because Skavel, in his rage for being unable to defeat a Kobold in a fist fight, drew his other Battle Axe, disqualifying him. Skavel stormed off, while his band stayed behind, making merriment at his expense.   Molo Varn was visited by the Dwarves every other day. He was often uncomfortable with how they acted around him, treating him like one of their own. He would eventually befriend the Dwarves, and even learned dwarvish from Tashk Stelvekan, who was the only member of the band who could speak Draconic. Through these celebrations, Molo also learned a little about Dwarven culture, and became fascinated in their Ancestry beliefs. He was born and raised on the belief that he and everyone in the tribe is expendable, even the tribe Dragon blessed. Remembering ancestors is pointless, and does not conserve the survival of the tribe. Molo would try to find out about his own ancestors, but could only learn about 3, from the Dragon Blessed named Twil, who was designated the History scribe dedicated to writing down every single thing that caused damage to the tribe, and every thing that helped the Tribe.   Molo only managed to learn anything of substance about 3 different Ancestors; Krikit, Quind, and Olean. Krikit was a Scale Sorcerer that founded the tribe used his magic to move the earth to make way for the tribe. Quind was an Artificer who was known for setting the "greatest trap ever conceived." He dug out 20 different holes all around the mountain that was rigged to cave in on intruders, and had small holes for Kobolds to return to the real cave. Every trap has been triggered by either adventurers looking for treasure or wild animals wandering into the holes, but no one had tried attacking the tribe for 20 years. Olean did something no other from the tribe did: befriend an outsider, a Firbolg named Shate. Shate helped create Potato and Beet farms for the tribe, taught as many Kobolds as possible to grow and cultivate the farms, and taught Olean the ways of Druidic Magic.   When Molo Varn returned to his small camp and met his Dwarven friends, he told the stories of his ancestors. The Dwarves, Specifically Tashk, believed that they could potentially teach him the ways of the Barbarian, to capitalize on his strength. The only person who could teach Molo was Skavel, however, who was still at Hilvastra. The made the 5 day trek back to the stronghold. They would meet Skavel in the Stronghold's Bar, screaming in a drunken haze about his ancestors could kick another Dwarf's ancestors' ass. For Molo to be taught by Skavel, Molo was told that he must learn about every Ancestor of Skavel's and must be able to explain what each one did in their life. after weeks of reading about Dwarves who's days ranged from heroes of the mines to mundane blacksmiths. He eventually realized that even being able to name every ancestor of Skavel, and almost every time Molo had seen Skavel, Skavel was arguing about how his ancestors where the best. So, when Molo did the weekly quiz on the ancestors, all Skavel asked where met with Molo arguing that his ancestors were better, talking about how they didn't have the advantages of being a Dwarf, and still saved his tribe from the dangers of the world. This devolved into a shouting match about nothing. However, when the shouting was done, Skavel told Molo that, in order to be an Ancestral Guardian, one must be ready to fight for their Ancestor's honor, not care about any others. This lesson started Molo's Training.   Molo Varn would eventually become an Ancestral Guardian, using the powers of his Ancestors to fight his enemies. He had 3 teeth that each represented Krikit, Quind, and Olean respectfully, wearing them around his neck, and uses them to invoke their spirits. He used his newfound powers to begin traveling the world, looking to become well known enough, and being able to get his tribe easier lives. He started his adventuring career in 2338wr, taking small quests around Hilvastra. In 2339wr, he had gotten a quest from to find a necklace in Lang-Caster. He would get an adventuring license, and begin rising in the Adventurer guild's ranks through small tasks and bounties. He eventually became somewhat well known around the area.   Due to how well known Molo was at this time, a Local wizard named Keems Blahk asked for him to find him a Red Diamond, in 2340wr. Keems gave molo a map of places that most likely have one. The only place on the Continent was in The Castle of Old Godsen, so Molo would make his way to the Castle. He used his rank to gain access to the City, but needed to gain a favor from a noble to enter the castle. Luckily for him, one of the small quests he had done in the past helped a Noble greatly, to the point where he owed Molo a favor, so he called for it. Once accepted into the Castle, Molo would begin looking for the treasure vault Molo, when he caught sight an elven Noble brandishing a small dagger. Suspicious, Molo began tailing the Noble, leading him into the "Round room", where all Nobles, Lords, and King Marlo  come to discuss politics. They were in the middle of an argument about what to do about Hield, when Molo noticed the guards had silently left the room, locked the doors, and the Noble Molo followed charged the King. Marlo, however, was and still is a strong fighter, holding off the Assassin using his longsword. Several other Assassins began attacking Marlo, however, so Molo jumped into the fight, defending Marlo. The Assassins would be killed, and Marlo would reward Molo for saving him by giving him the Red Diamond he was seeking, giving him a large house in Old-Godsen, and giving the story to the Royal Court News making Molo famous for saving the King.
