Atalanta

One of the Huntresses of Artemis. Abandoned on a mountainside to die as an infant, the goddess Artemis took pity on her and sent a mother bear to nurse her until a group of hunters found her and brought her to civilization. Atalanta is currently one of the most accomplished hunters and fastest runners in the world, but men often underestimate or feel threatened by her because of her gender.
