Artemis

Artemis is the virgin goddess of the hunt and the wilderness, as well as the protector of young girls and patron goddess of childbirth. She is the leader of the Huntresses of Artemis, young women who swear never to enter into romantic or sexual relationships. She has an ongoing rivalry with Aphrodite, goddess of love and sexuality, who often schemes to make her huntresses break their vows of chastity.
