History

Zanokar is one of the few kingdoms that can trace its history back to the dawn wars, that fought on the side of the Divine. The elemental titans let them life because they fought we honor and loyality, and never harm innocents, and their trained healers help warriors from both sides at the end of battles. In the end the Titans trapped the kingdom between two forests on the edges of the borders, while the final fight against the divine happened to the north and south of them. The Forests had some of the largest and most numerous bleeds to the Faewild and Shadowfell. Very few enter those forests and came out the same, if they came out at all.
At the end of the wars, Zanokar leaders were given a choice of following the Titans or being removed (Those that were removed are believed to be in the Vaneguard Moon Jail but obviously no one knows. But many swore alignance to the Titans and Zanokar moved on with its ways.

Leadership

Zanokar while is a single kingdom there is little overall governship, and each Noble landowner runs his or her lands as their want, in a more Federal style rulership, and while there is a Royal Family of Zanokar they don't have any power outside of their own lands around the Zanokar City, any more than any other Duke or Baron outside of their lands.

Life in Zanokar

Is very dependent of you lord and how their treat the people within their lands. Some treat them as serfs, and standards of living are that of squaller with little hope of bettering themselves. While others give their people almost as good an upbringing as those within the Imperium, schooling, health care and a chance of improving their lots in life with hardwork and ability to learn.

Heavily made up of Humans and Dwarves as the last of the Children of the Divine Gods, obviously you can find members of most species within the cities, due to trade and migrations over the years.
