Creation

Dragonfire Bronze, is made in a similar way to normal Bronze, that is mainly copper with additions of Tin and some other metals, many believe the exact mix and the elemental breath, will change the properties somewhat the final material, but generally the Metal once harden is one of the strongest materials known to Godai.
Dragonfire Bronze is melted in the normal way in crucible, but once it is in a molten state and the metal starts to mix, it temperature needs to be raised greater by the breath of a Fire or Air Dragon, which obviously why Dragonfire Bronze is rare, as a blacksmith finding a Dragon willing to work with him to create any amount of such a material is uncommon and as such few examples of such weapons and armours are found.
Remelting of Dragonfire Bronze is difficult without a dragon to help to heat the item, but it can be done with patience and skill, there are few blacksmiths with the knowledge to do so, as it requires a forge that can create a greater than normal heat, and those that know the secret rarely past the requirements onto their apprentices other than the most exceptional of them.

Usage

Pretty much all Dragonfire Bronze is used in weapons or armours around Godai, such pieces are highly sort after and many adventurers who end up with pieces of dragonfire bronze equipment may find themselves with the attention of many organisations looking at claiming such items for themselves, by purchase, theft or outright killing the owner.
Weapons made of Dragonfire Bronze keep their edge better than another weapon, and can cut though other materials with a greater degree of success than the average iron or steel weapon of the same time.
Armour made of Dragonfire Bronze are even rarer than weapons of the material, due to the fact more is required for armour making, and while there a numerous known weapons, there are fewer chainmail shirts and almost no Plate Armour known to exist, supposely the imperial family of the Crane Imperium have a number of sets of armour and weapons made of Dragonfire Bronze. Supposely the Helm of the Chief of Chiefs of the Urugoth Expanse is also made of the material, but no one been allowed near enough to it say if its just normal Bronze or not.
