Iniarv was the former royal mage of the Uth Kingdom. He was best known for revealing himself to be a lich and creating the Mere of Dead Men by creating a massive flood.

Personal history

The region now known as the "Mere of Dead Men" was previously a part of the Uth Kingdom. While facing the threat of destruction from invading orcs, the Uth Kingdom called on its former royal mage Iniarv for assistance. Iniarv, enraged by the request, revealed himself to be a lich. He called on the Sea of Swords to flood the entire plain, killing the invading orcs and also destroying the kingdom. The flood waters receded, revealing swampland and the new hordes of wandering undead creatures that would give the area its new name.
