Debt Marker

People who incur debts can opt to work off their debt. They wear debt marker collars around their necks with silver tags stamped with their debt service's expiration date. Some members of the Ossan Foreign Legion are debtors who work off their debts through military service.
STORY
Idrian Sepulki wears one of these silver debt marker tags around his neck, which marks the debt he owes to the Ossan Foreign Legion for paying for the high resonance godglass eye that staves off his madness. Idrian later bargains with Coordinator-Lieutenant Prosotsi, promising to add one more year to his debt in exchange for her authorizing use of high-resonance cureglass on the mortally injured Braileer Holdest. She tells him she will bring him a new debt marker with his new expiration date on it.
