Cindersand

Cindersand is a fine, greyish-colored sand full of sorcerous resonance, from which siliceers fashion Godglass. It is mined from thousands of mines and quarries throughout the world.
STORY
The world's cindersand supply has begun to run out as the known cindersand mines and quarries run empty. This drives up prices and causes godglass shortages that eventually lead to political and social unrest as governments begin to dip into their cindersand stockpiles and workers in Ossa riot in the Assembly Square. The disappearance of cindersand means the disappearance of sorcery altogether, a fact that would devastate civilization.
