The alias for one of the primary leaders of the undercurrent and a wanted The Undercurrent Conductor.   Born to a wealthy political family, Sereya Waltz was a well-respected member of the community who disappeared after her 24th birthday.   Stumbled across the undercurrent while they were at university. Heard Salia Aradia's passionate speech about the the importance of universal human rights and the complete abolition of slavery. initially dismissed the idea as idealist propaganda, the message stuck with her. As she returned home during break she found herself reevaluating the conditions the slave in the household experienced.   Over the next year she wrestled with her parents pro-ownership policies, and the bills her father helped sponsor to bolster the slave industry. Her position was strengthened after she joined her father on a trip to The Ember Isles /The Bloody Islands and personally witnessed the Slave Trade.   Instead of returning to university, Sereya packed up her most precious belongs and fled. She ran to Salia Aradia pledging her support for the undercurrent, but was careful to keep her family name a secret. What initially started as a precaution turned into a hard a fast rule. The policies her father supported in the government were mentioned with pure hatred and vitriol that any association with her family would cause severe fissures.   Sereya uses the the alias Barbarossa Saparklebeard within the community. She refuses to give her true name to others, insisting that the alias protects her identity and the organization. Aradia was initially suspicious of this and spend many late nights covertly scrying on her to confirm her allegiances.   Sereya has proven to be one of the most capable conductors in the undercurrent. Her youth, combined with her intricate awareness of both slave conditions and slave laws has empowered her to free over 24 slaves. Members of the Brezže Guard have tried numerous times to track down the illusive conductor and have placed numerous wanted missives searching for a medium-height human male with a large bushy beard. So far their inquiries have been unsuccessful.
