Oggaruk Merchant Guild
The Guild provide a secure organization for members to set prices at a competitive rate while ensuring others don't undercut their business. The Oggaruk branch is notable for its ruthlessness when it comes to competition, as no caravans are allowed in or out of the city without a Guild Charter. They have been known to hire the Assassin's Guild to rough up or disappear rivals quite regularly.
Structure
The head of the Guild is the Guildmaster, who oversees the running of the Guild and brokering alliances and trade deals.
The Masters control caravans and shops within the city, taking on apprentices and training them.
Journeymen merchants travel with the caravans, learning the fine points of negotiation and trade in other cities and regions.
Apprentice merchants help run the shops in the city, loaned out to craftsmen by the Guild for a fee.
Culture
Cutthroat is the best way to describe the culture. Apprentices are ranked against one another and encouraged to one up their fellow members, as space in the Guild is limited.
