STATIC: Descent into Drosloch
General Summary
Wherein Fritz Himmelswander, Sharkbait, and Chazzington descend into the oubliette of Drosloch & confront ancient remnants of both binding and unmaking.
The Descent Begins
The party awoke at the threshold of Drosloch, an ancient, threadbound prison beyond the reach of memory or dream. It was not built to contain monsters. It was built to contain something else. Tyrant recognized it—not with understanding, but with something more deeper--dread. Sharkbait and Fritz were joined by a bodybuilder named Chazzington, who was a fierce advocate of a "swole supplement" called "Big Back Joose." He decided to help Fritz and Sharkbait explore this place, all the while shilling the importance of getting "nasty with it" and "caked up" with Big Back Joose. The gate to the oubliette challenged them. Guardians rose. The Wardens of the Seal—red-threaded revenants—attacked in silence. The party prevailed. And so the descent continued. The Unfinished God
Deeper still: Vanyeth the Unfinished, a dream-god who never fully was. A divine echo born of worship that never came. He called the players pilgrims. He called Tyrant brother. When they did not affirm his holiness, he unraveled. His light became a weapon. His cathedral wept. The Empty Cell
The heart of Drosloch lay hollow: a cell without a prisoner, its sigils still humming with love and grief. Tyrant stepped inside and recognized what was never said aloud. This cell once held a Tyrant. Perhaps even the Gavronic Tyrant. But the Gavronic Tyrant is not Tyrant. It is something else. Another guardian rose—the Threefold Echo. It fought to preserve whatever remained of this space. It fell, but not easily. The Last Binding
At the bottom, in the dark sanctum of red spirals and unraveling purpose, the party faced Kothar-Vel, the Knot-Eater, a god-beast woven from failed bindings and forgotten choices. When the dust cleared, the seal pulsed again. Tyrant stood in its light. He was not chained. But he could be. Fritz was not possessed--he could let go. The choice was not made. Not yet.And That’s Where We Left It
The party emerged from Drosloch changed—but not concluded. Now they return to Bonefields, to the World Forge, to hopefully tugs at a few of these threads before they unravel completely.Varied & Sundry Details
