Veritas
The veritas is a small splinter group of religious truth seekers. They believe themselves to be seeking the truth of god and have been mistaken through time as believers of the one god or seekers but in truth is the only thing they believe they pray that there is a external force that allows them in death and life to be good and happy. They pray for this to be the truth, the actual followers of this belief come from a verity of religions and really the Veritas is more a way of thinking of religion than a religion its self but many still treat those who subscribe to it as seapreat from their own faith.
Structure
The Veritas exist mostly within other religious groups as a fringe group meaning they can number from 1 to thousands in any one place but they almost never exist in and of themselves without a pre-designed structure. The group is most commonly found in the dominating religion and often the larger the group the more likely they are to have an Ausciltator or a listener of truths. The most structure a group ever gains is between two religious groups. The Veritatem are often used to negotiate between two groups of Veritas for the larger religion. Ausciltators are often trained as judges mediators, ambassadors, and diplomats as well as lower level seekers who are looked to as historians but not keepers of knowledge. In this way they are often confused with Seekers who often occupy similar roles but have very large keep differences of belief.
Culture
The Veritas believe in one simple truth, and that is truth. They pray that their beliefs are true and that whatever their gods are exist. They apply this belief in many ways allowing them to serve in solidity as truth seekers and keepers. It is believed that if a Veritatem stood witness then they are absolutely truthful and they take vows to this though in some cases curtain Veritatem have a secondary belief, this often leads to a vow of silence. The second belief hings on faith, they believe that faith in truth must be kept so some truths must not be told, other beliefs include that to speak is to warp the truth so vows of silence among the Veritatem are not uncommon. Those who take vows of silence are often sought out as secret witnesses. In this capacity they will acknowledge their whistles of something but never what it was in these cases often their signatures are priceless.
Public Agenda
All Veritas followers make one promise and that is to commune their believed truth without denouncing another one. Since the Veritatem all believe in their own truth. For a Veritatem to lie is to be shunned not just by other Veritatem but by all people the Veritatem serve in their community.
Assets
Veritatem do not have material wealth, they are only allowed to reside within holy places and take what is offered. If a lie is uttered they must dissuade false belief such as false relishes. Veritatem often function as antiquers verifying religious and historical pieces.
History
The Veritas do not keep a clear history like other religions though many think the Veritas are historians they only keep that which they believe is needed to know truth leaving actual religious stories and the like to the religions they take part in. The Veritatem have only one story that is believed across the religious board and that is the story of Amoonet. Amount was the first of the Veritas in name, she was the daughter of a restless of Or who saw her mother have visions and tell people but she believed her mother a false profit and was outraged by her use of faith to manipulate people. Amoonet was disheartened that her faith was so easy shaken and people so easily fooled, religion a tool to take advantage of those with faith so she tried to show the world the truth but they did not believe her. Amoonet was heart broken and she ran away searching for an answer that eluded her. What was the truth after years of searching she finally came across a man who sat on the edge of a cliff that looked over the sea. When she asked him what he was doing he said listening and when she asked to what, he replied the gods where arguing and he thought it funny. Amount was shocked who thoughts arguing of the gods where funny. He replied that his faith told him that the sounds nature made the crashing of waves on cliff where when two gods talked and he said since he was little he always listened to their conversation between the cliff and the waves. Amoonet asked what they said and he replied always the same thing. They always say they are grater then each other. Wave says his movement proves him best and cliff says his stillness shows his strength. The man said it is funny that they argue like humans do. Amoonet finally returned home to find her mother dining and asked her why did you say you had visions. I did her mother told her. I dreamed the gods talked to me in half remembered conversations and words that escaped me and I intreated the dreams the best i could i told the truth i knew and let others find their truths in them as well. But they where just dreams amount asked and her mother replied and i am just a priestess i can only look for the signs of them among us or i would not believe. what if its not true asked the girl. her mother replied but what if it is and i have faith that it is because that is what faith is. with is believing in what you know to be the truth. Amoonet was not the first of her like to seek the truth but she was the first Veritas and her story lives in all Veritas to seek truth and not dismiss other truth.
Military
The Veritatem that decide on the path of the paladin are rare and are known for not being easy swain to violence, they only kill those they believe are liens or false profits. These are very hard to prove though and when they are they are dealt with fallibly and their stricken from records often. Te be a liens means to perpetrate false faith, not in a relief way but as a leader of others. The Veritatem do not persecute murder rape or any other crimes besides these two. Veritatem Paldins who serve rulers are rare and when they do that rulers oath means much. Oaths sworn to Paldins are much more then sacred because the Paldin is duty bound to till oath breakers.
Foreign Relations
The Veritas are one of the smallest religious beliefs to be practiced world wide thought not every where most places have some signs of their influence.

Ama, amas are seals of truth, they can be signatures by a verified by the vowers of silence or seals carried by other members who have earned them and are sealed in blood. If a sealed document is presented its always written in the old words the official language of the Veritas.
