An era encompassing all that came before recognized history. At some point, the gods were born, the planes formed, but no one is sure when. Prehistoria could have lasted a thousand years, or tens of thousands of years.
At some point the universe split off into the different planes of existence.
The first Aboleths arrive on the Material Plane
The Manos Stones were written some point during this time, marking some of the only known records from that time.
A time when gods walked upon the planes, creating creatures to serve them in all ways. The gods fought among each other for power and glory. Dragons, giants, tarrasques, and the first humanoids were created during this age. While few humanoid races were created as soldiers, they would fit the roles well when they needed to. This age lasted for around 4,500 years, ending after the gods made peace with each other, due to the arrival of Tharizdun.
Tharizdun arrives on the material plane, destroying part of the plane and forcing the gods to retreat to the outer planes. Though they attempt to cast him out back into the Far Realms, they are unsuccessful, instead trapping him in a demiplane.
Without their rulers, dragons and giants began to form kingdoms of their own, as did the first dwarves, elves, and other elder races. The Dragon-Giant Wars was a major conflict fought for four centuries during this period. The dragons and giants enslaved and created their own races to fight for them. In the end, the war was stopped when they were forced to make peace once more, thanks to the formation of the Obsidian Gate. Afterwards, humanoids began to re-establish their kingdoms once more, and civilization as we know it started to flourish. However, it only did so until the Cataclysms.
The dragons and giants, both conceited as the greatest of the god's creations begin to openly fight against one another. With each teaming up against the other, the fighting quickly proves that it will be brutal and enduring.
Records from this time record Cyrus, Churl of the Arcane getting involved in mortal affairs for the first time.
Tharizdun reaches out into the Material Plane and attempts to free himself, but fails. However, the spellweave and the very fabric of reality are torn. Magic is nearly lost, and the gods retreat exclusively to the Outer Planes where they are no longer in harm's way. Until Tharizdun becomes too weak to fight back, that is where they shall remain.
Tharizdun used his power to nearly escape from his confines - twice. A thousand years apart at a a time, each attempt nearly destroyed the fabric of reality. Magic and communication with the gods was nearly entirely lost. The Material Plane became almost inhospitable for some time.

A group of Nurargurallian Wizards bring down a comet upon the earth, and use it to create powerful magical artifacts for their emperor. This seriously impressive event also acted as the founding of the Court of Omens.
A sect of the Court of Omens breaks off to form the Velvet Court.
Alsharise crosses over from the Far Realms into the material plane, and is captured by the Nurargurallian empire.
Another cataclysm occurs, destroying what progress the world had made. Once again the mortal realm is cast into darkness and destruction.
