Penitent of the Desert Sun

Once a proud vessel of the Zephyrn Fleet, the Penitent of the Desert Sun now sails under a different flag, its hull no longer the deep ocean blue of its former allegiance but a sun-bleached yellow, its past scrubbed away by wind and war. Captured during the destruction of the Zephyrn Fleet at Tarnford Harbour, the ship fell into the hands of the Shatterbrand, its fate sealed when the infamous Triss Tiigand made her offer. Rather than slaughter or enslave them, she granted the crew a choice—to serve her cause or be cast into the sea.
The ship’s captain, Samiid, a Dakar man of few words but sharp mind, accepted the bargain, and his crew—each of them mute, speaking only in the swift, precise language of their hands—followed without hesitation. Under the Shatterbrand’s command, the Penitent became more than just a relic of conquest; it became a ghost upon the tides, slipping between enemy lines, its silent crew making it the perfect vessel for smuggling, ambush, and sabotage. The ship’s name, Penitent, is its only confession—its sins swallowed by the sea, its course forever set toward rebellion.
