The grassy hills of Nu Maroch roll on as far as the eye can see, dotted with small villages made up of simple homes built into the landscape. The halflings of this province are a hardy people, accustomed to the harsh winds and unpredictable weather of the open plains. They are skilled hunters and gatherers, relying on the natural resources around them for survival. The homes of Nu Maroch are typically made of mud bricks, straw, and thatch, with low doorways and small windows to keep out the wind and sand. In the center of each village is a large bonfire, where the halflings gather to tell stories, sing songs, and roast their latest catch.The Iryl halflings of Nu Maroch are fiercely independent and proud, with a deep respect for their traditions and heritage.
