Molten Remembrance

Casting the body of fallen mine dwarves within a casket of iron. To be added to the great catacombs of the Bilden Mine.
In the somber forge of the mine dwarves, a hallowed ritual unfolds. A fallen kin, wrapped with care in oil soaked linen is placed gently into a metal sarcophagus. As mournful songs echo, molten iron, gleaming and fierce, is poured atop, encapsulating the body in a fiery embrace. This molten tomb hardens, forging an eternal bond between the dwarf and the stone they so loved. The resulting iron block, infused with the essence of the departed, becomes a foundational stone, bearing the weight of structures and tunnels. In death, as in life, the dwarf continues to support and protect their community.
