Ixtli Ton-Altzini Character in Galfin | World Anvil

Ixtli Ton-Altzini

Ixtli Ton-Altzini is a powerful and revered figure in the Caluan Desert, known as the Apostle of the Sun. She leads a group of suntek elves who guard the Carthureagus, a massive labyrinth that protects the World Tree from those who would seek to harm it.
Ixtli's appearance is striking and memorable, with bronze-orange skin that seems to glow in the bright desert sun. She wears flowing clothes with mesh material in her arms to allow sunlight to touch her, and gold jewelry in the shape of gears, a sigil used for the sun god in some cultures.
As an expert in solar magic, Ixtli has mastered the ability to channel the power of the sun to create magical forces of fire and light. She can summon rays of light and heat to blind and burn her enemies, or harness the power of the sun to heal and protect her allies.
Ixtli is a wise and compassionate leader who cares deeply for her people and the natural world around her. She is known for her keen intellect and strategic mind, and has often used her powers of persuasion to broker peace between warring factions.
Those who seek to enter the Carthureagus must first gain the trust of Ixtli and her suntek elves, and prove that they are worthy of access to the World Tree. For those who are able to win her favor, Ixtli can be a powerful ally and mentor, sharing her knowledge of solar magic and guiding them on their journeys through the desert.

Any attack from the air could be devastating but a ground attack can be slowed by the maze and guerilla tactics. Kaile has visited before and gets the two of you in.

She chooses to listen to what you have to say.
Day 15 Discuss Defences, old towers are retrofitted with sentries to alert of any major attack. Kaile trains the sunteks just like he did at the barracks.
Day 21 Ixtli comes to Triss after an arduous training session and has been working on something. Numerous sentries stand in front of you with a blocky, gear like ring of suntek design around their forearms. They replicated the Merkaynian Brand with their own tattoo that stores solar energy. When a harrowed is around it will warm up and glow a bright orange unless you want to turn it off in the dark, for stealth purposes. This tattoo can also be used for 2 hours of lantern light as long as you were outside for at least 8 hours the day before. Ishtli offers you this utility suntek marking as your first tattoo while you work towards your solar powers.
Day 24 Triss continues training. All suntek elves can absorb solar power, the tattoos only work as guides for different techniques. It can be dangerous for others if you learn to unlock your power but get no tattoos.
Day 25 Kaile can continue training the Suntek Elves as he was a trained fighter, since they won’t be up to snub by the time the Shatterbrand agreed to reconvene. Sossari is already looking into a new barracks leader on Eidon.
Day 38 Triss Receives her first Suntek Tattoo and unlocks first power (two of your first unlock spells you were working on)
Day 41 The month is nearing its end and she must leave for Eidon. Ishtli thanks Triss for trying to protect her people. The World Trees are greatly important to the cosmic order. The Botanoron, the Ton-Kuauitl (Suntek word for Sun Tree, what other cultures call the World Tree), the damaged Rokau Tree (known as the Great Ashen Tree because it was heavily damaged in the Summer of Smoke)
