Inglenook Creek

Inglenook Creek winds its way through the settlement of Pipun, its warm waters originating from the volcanic mountains of Stornway. The creek’s mineral-rich flow creates an ethereal veil of fog that blankets the area, giving the settlement a dreamlike quality in the early mornings and evenings. The constant mist cools the heated water as it travels, nourishing the surrounding flora and painting the creek's banks in vibrant greens and yellows.   This tranquil stream is home to the elusive yellow glow frog, a luminescent amphibian that thrives in the creek’s unique ecosystem. During the breeding season, clusters of their golden eggs shimmer beneath the surface, attracting the attention of Daijin nomads. The eggs are considered a rare delicacy, delicately harvested by these wandering people who pass through Pipun, trading them in markets across Galfin.
