Its residents are mostly Terra Aelfe, a proud and reserved race of elves known for their love of knowledge and order. Under the guidance of Calin Shaklelor, the town's Cinnidh Chief and Terra Aelfe librarian, Hast is a place of organized beauty and serenity.
Nestled into the cliffs, the homes of Hast are built seamlessly into the natural rock formations, creating a harmonious blend of nature and architecture. The residents of Hast take great pride in their dwellings and their town, maintaining them with care and precision.
Beneath the town, a network of deep tunnels winds its way through the earth, providing the Terra Aelfe with a secure and sheltered place to call home. The tunnels are also filled with books, artifacts, and other treasures of knowledge, collected and cataloged by Calin and his fellow Terra Aelfe over the centuries.
From the vantage point of Hast, the sea stretches out before the residents, a seemingly endless expanse of blue and green.
