Harhan the First
an old yergralffe from the 1E, legendary in their tales. Allegedly carved the water ways surrounding Adrarct to separate his people from the mainland.
Harhan the First was a legendary yergralffe who lived during the First Era, a time when the world of Galfin was still young and untamed. He was known for his incredible strength and cunning, as well as his deep devotion to his people. His mighty Sledge is legnd amongst nirhern artifacts.
According to legend, Harhan was the one who carved the waterways surrounding Adrarct, the great continent of the North. These waterways he created allowed settlements to arise off the dangerous bay that sustained the region.
His work on the Trench of Harhan calmed the waters nearby and simplified life in the frigid north. His people were able to open trade with sailors of the mainland much easier than before. Some of Harhan's descendants also used this trench as a direct way to raid the mainland, gathering resources and recording legendary battles. This trenchs provided a means of transportation and trade.
Harhan was not only a great warrior, but also a wise leader. He established a council of advisors and worked tirelessly to ensure the prosperity and safety of his people. Under his rule, the North thrived, and the yergralffe clans united under his banner to declare him the first leader, a governance that would lead to the title of Jar being bestowed upon those who followed in his footsteps.
Harhan remained humble and dedicated to his people until his dying day. His legacy lived on in the hearts of the northern peoples, and his descendants would go on to rule as Jaagrs for centuries to come. To this day, the northern lords of Galfin claim heritage from Harhan the First, the man who gave them the frigid North and connected them to the mild mainland.
