Gnomes of Teslite have created tools that can harness the power of the unrelenting electrical storm. The builders use cogs, gears, levers and pulleys to build their machines and steam to power them. While building their civilization the gnomes created great wonders using their superior intellect; from steam-powered machines that toast wheat, to pulley-powered rooms that travel vertically up and down the multi-leveled gnomian buildings, to automatons that use all of the accumulated technological resources the race have invented, the gnomes achievements are numerous. Gizomo was a unique inventor, he is one of the only gnomes who doesn't just build for function but for fun as well. The great city of Ikarus has been built to suit the short stature of the inhabitants. When Gizomo designed a manned-automaton, his colleagues thought he was crazy, but they knew that was impossible because the gnomes cured dementia decades ago. Gizomo created his suit to be able to see the world from a different point of view. The council of Teslite tried to stop his build but the gnomon leader; Slee, thought otherwise. He allowed Gizomo to build his manned automaton and Gizomo has used his new found height to aid the gnomes of Ikarus; even if he turns heads every time he leaves his house.
