Eisynian Order

The Eisynian Order is a forgotten relic of an era so ancient that even myths barely whisper its name. Born from the worship of Eisyn, Archon of Life, its legacy was eroded not by war or calamity, but by the slow, inevitable shifting of faith over millennia. Eisyn’s name faded long before the world fractured in the Third Era, as its followers unknowingly drifted toward the veneration of newer gods—some of Eisyn’s own children—until no one remembered the name they had once called upon.   Only one remnant of the order endured: an unassuming temple in the quiet town of Raven’s Crest. A structure of pale stone worn smooth by time, its walls bore a single enigmatic sigil—a diamond encircled by curved lines reaching toward distant circles. Unlike the glyphs of known gods, this symbol existed nowhere else in scripture or history. To the people of Raven’s Crest, it was simply "the Temple of Eisyn," a name with no meaning, no remembered patron, and no followers. Like the town itself, the temple slumbered, its significance long since buried beneath the more dominant faith of the Gaulan Plains—the Church of Dhara.   For centuries, the temple remained a silent mystery. It might have crumbled entirely, swallowed by obscurity, if not for the war that shattered the peace of the Gaulan Plains. During the rebellion of Highprince Demarrus Skytracer against his father, Highking Orion, a divine revelation cracked the foundation of history. Demarrus, having aligned himself with the dark god Terrormaw, commanded an army of horrors, creatures twisted by the god of Judgment and Mischief. Against such overwhelming forces, the Royal Army teetered on the brink of collapse.   It was then that Yacobius Hrothgar, High Guard Captain of the King’s forces, received a vision. His god, Dhara, did not show him victory through his own power, but instead unveiled a truth long buried: the lost Archon of Life. Guided by this revelation, Yacobius abandoned his post, journeying across the land to find others who shared his vision. He gathered warriors and scholars of faith, revealing to them the forgotten sigil, the sacred relics hidden beneath Raven’s Crest, and the long-lost rites of Eisyn. With weapons and armour bearing the mark of the Archon, these newfound followers emerged as the reborn Eisynian Order.   When the final battle was joined, and the forces of Terrormaw threatened to drag the Gaulan Plains into darkness, Yacobius and his order arrived like a force from legend. Wielding blades and banners infused with the power of Eisyn, they turned the tide, driving back the horrors of Demarrus’ army. In the end, it was not faith in Dhara, nor the armies of the crown, that secured victory—it was belief in life.   Demarrus fell, struck down by his own father, and the rebellion ended. But the reemergence of the Eisynian Order raised more questions than answers. What else had been lost to time?
