Eastking Hermen Windslayer

Eastking Hermen Windslayer

Won the Third Eastern Moot. Once Eastking Berend died, Hermen competed against the late king’s two sons Robbert and Rikkert. Hermen shocked the nation by defeating the much younger warriors as he was 91 years old. He became the next Eastking.   Many thought he would not survive much longer and his rule would be short but Hermen lived until 110, almost 20 years of Eastking rule   Hermen was a visionary leader, his strategic foresight and bold decisions propelling the kingdom to new heights. His ambition and relentless drive inspired both admiration and fear, as his methods were often as ruthless as they were effective.   Hermen Windslayer, the ambitious son of Vivian, was ruthless in his rise to power. Born into a lesser branch of the Windslayer family, he harbored a deep resentment toward his cousins and was determined to seize the Eastking mantle at any cost. Hermen’s victory in the 345 BHM Third Eastern Moot was marked by death, as he killed both Rikkert and Robbert to claim the throne. His reign was one of fear and cunning, lasting until his death at age 110 in 326 BHM, when his son Clus took over.
