Deigo Stoya
wants to be the best swordsman in the world.
sword God
Deigo does not wield a sword—he wields a performance. A blade is not just a weapon in his hands; it is a statement, a story, an art form. Raised among the actors of the Nightmare Troupe, he learned the elegance of movement from his mother, the dramatics of battle from his father. But where they sought the stage, he sought the fight. He wanted more than applause—he wanted legend. His twin swords, when locked together, resemble a massive pair of scissors, a deadly instrument of precision and showmanship. Every strike is a flourish, every battle a dance. His dream is to be called the Sword God, but for now, he is merely a Sword Saint, honing his craft one duel at a time. His obsession led to his exile—too many challenges, too many duels, too much pride. Even Bastille himself tired of Deigo’s endless need to prove himself. But Deigo does not care. The title he seeks is still ahead, and he will cut his way to it, one opponent at a time.
Diego the sword God.
Diego has always aspired to one day be so well renowned with the blade that people will refer to him as the sword God. He currently considers himself a sword Saint
He was the best swordsman of "The Nightmare Troupe" The leader of the Troupe is Diego's father: Iago. The nightmare Troupe is a traveling actors group.
Diegos mother (coco) was a dancer and would teach him unorthodox foot work. She was also the tailor for the Troupe and taught him how to mend and CUT things.
Diego grew a fascination with cutting and using scissors, he weilds two swords that combine together to become a two handed weapon that looks like a big pair of scissor (kill la kill)
LHis father taught him to embellish as an actor.
Think of inigo Montoya from princess bride;
"I will cut you, first I will cut through your skin, then I will cut through your blood, cut through your bone, then the other side of your bone then through the other side of your blood, and then the other side of your skin. One day this will only take one strike"
"I could cut through anything, even to the chase if needed "
" I will simply cut the space between us, making me move faster"
Is it possible that my character got kicked out because he was just too adamant about fighting the higher ups of the wild men. To prove he was a better swordsman than they were? He just got too brash about it and pissed off someone too high up who kicked him out
