Briggs Skytracer, born 11 years into the Fourth Era, is a distinguished figure in the Great Plateau and the founder of Briggfyrd. His father began building Skygarde and sent his son to start the first trading post down river. As the husband of Mairi Windslayer and father to Helena, Veres, Kegan, Devran, and Koram Skytracer, Briggs played a pivotal role in both his family and the broader political landscape of Galfin.
A powerful mage who honed his skills under the tutelage of the Sunseers of Calua, Briggs was a master of fire magic and pyrography. Although his prowess with a sword did not match his magical abilities, he wielded his father’s blade for a time before passing it to his elder sister. This act reinforced the unity of the Skytracer line during a turbulent period of rebellion.
