However, Biford’s careful plans unraveled when Iona Nuada, the cunning niece of Bres, sabotaged the meeting, seizing the Maegon and Ink for her own purposes. When she later stormed Clarion, expanding the Aurorus Boreald to seal the city and claiming her uncle’s horned helmet as the new Unna Maska, Biford swiftly abandoned his loyalties, aligning himself with the new power in Clarion. Though outwardly composed, Biford is driven by self-preservation, ever ready to shift alliances to maintain his influence in the perilous landscape of Skygarde's politics.
