Moonrider Summit

The northernmost mountain of Kethendia, Moonrider Summit is one of the four great mountains, each home to a prominent dragonborn clan. The Summit is named after the clan living at its base, Clan Moonrider.

Thundercleft

Moonrider Summit is uniquely shaped in that it is actually split in half. A massive deep cleft runs between the two, named Thundercleft because the mountain is said to have been split by an ancient blue dragon long ago. The slopes of the mountain are bare, covered in loose stone and steep cliff that make it difficult for plant life. A spring wells up high on the side of the taller peak, falling miles until it reaches the bottom of the cleft, where its mists condense and form an icy river the flows along the cleft to the city at the mountain's base.

Nessira

Nessira is a small city home to Clan Moonrider. A large group of black dragonborn, the Moonrider clan is extremely proud. Nessira sits at the opening to Thundercleft, monopolizing the water that runs from its mouth and pools into a small lake around which the city was built. The Moonrider clan does not look for assistance easily, and several times in its history the clan has been nearly wiped out because its elders refused to ask for help with the clan's problems. It is rare to see a dragonborn from this clan outside of Nessira, and often the members who leave do so because they have been exiled for dishonoring the clan.
