Relic hunters 19: defying father, part 2

General Summary

Session starts with the party in the sanctum again Eris tries to stab herself as punishment, but Zero stops her, grabbing the knife and taking it away from Eris. The party hugs her and comforts her. After being captured to be taken away from the fight, Thorn manages to escape and return to the temple, where he finds the party comforting Eris. the group checks up on Alden, they go down the tunnel and find that alden managed to just win, for a second he seems dead. but Alden survived though he will have some scars and lost an eye in defending against the assassin sent by sulyvahn. Deckie brings Alden to the infirmary upstairs in the temple.
the party investigates the crypt again, after searching for a bit they found the stairway down in the center of the room Sulyvahn was in the secret room below the crypt, preparing something at the massive spell circle there. Before the party can enter he uses another one of the stored spell energy crystals. Sulyvahn talks with the party for a bit, at this point he is mainly disappointed with Eris as she could have had a comfortable life if she simply would have followed orders, or at least sulyvahn believes so. Eventually the spell wanes and the fight starts. Sulyvahn moves back at the start of the fight. He can be seen doubling over with a light inside him, the fire soul is fighting back to try and escape. eventually Sulyvahn regurgitates the soul. sulyvahn fights back. nearly killing Zero with a powerful beam strike to the chest. Eris walks up to the soul of fire and absorbs it. she manages to escape with the soul During the fight a portal had been opening above the spell circle, from this portal a mass of connected ghosts reached a bit out, trying to claw at the party. as sulyvahn tries to chase the soul inside eris, the ghost mass grabs sulyvahn saying he failed, it takes sulyvahn with it as the portal was closing again. as he is being taken away Sulyvahn swears revenge.
Eris puts the soul back in it's rightful place The party celebrates the first firekeepers festival, since now they can relax.
Eris talks to Decleas through magic, Decleas is okay they have been searching for a cure for Phoebe but they haven't found anything. Eris talks to Lyxsas through magic, he is still on the road and traveling. Denna sends people towards lyxsas to pick him up. Zero is troubled and is thinking, afraid to find out about what he is. Deckie tries again to get some proper armor, this time the blacksmith makes some for him. He gets studded leather for himself and a breastplate for eris.
Eris finds out that the male firekeeper was imprisoned for a crime he probably didn't commit, likely by Sulyvahn on purpose, quite some time ago. eris asks Denna to send word to free him or at least try to. Denna takes a look at Zero his soul but even she cannot see further. The party simply uses the week to relax and destress for a bit, their favorite activity during this week was fishing. eventually Lyxsas arrives in the town too.
the party goes and leaves with Lyxsas and Alden too, they leave by a gifted boat, towards Deckie's hometown.
in total 9 days passed and the session ends on the 25th of draca
