Fealcen

1 of The 5 families of Bersail, thus co-ruling the city. The fealcen's got a reputation for being quite zealous in their faith of the Angel's faith.
During the Holy Cleansings, 4 of the families used their political power to keep the witchhunters out of Bersail as long as possible (mainly for economic reasons), the Fealcens were the only one who opposed this. When the witchhunters finally did arrive they were the only family who fully co-operated with them and when investigations into the noble families of the city started the Fealcens betrayed and gave information on the other familes. This resulted in them effectively ruling on their own for a bit as witchhunters took control of the city with a holy mandate, but since they didn't know how to run the city, they left it to the Fealcen's instead. This did not last long and as the witchhunters were defeated and the other families returned, a tribinal was had which ousted the family leader and anybody that helped him, leaving a young family member as the political family head, so the others could easily control the family in the future.
