Eristhyne
"Thanks... *huff*... I'll name my boat after you "
-Daine Treebound to Eris after running out of the prison containing the Arlyndas stones
The Eristhyne was a rowing longboat, similar to a Viking Longboat. It was named after Eris, since Deckie promised to name his ship after her when she healed him whilst running out of the prison containing the Arlyndas stones. It was gifted by Denna after Eris and the rest of the party defeated her father, Sulyvahn in the crypt beneath the Flame Soul shrine in Lytrin. It met its end when the party wanted to give Esbjorn a proper funeral which in true Viking fashion was set ablaze by Eris, causing her to be the person who received, got it named after, and destroyed the vessel.
The Eristhyne II, the ship Milum was commandeering when the party first met up with him in Phindanshire, was named after the first one after the battle with Ikran, three weeks after the first Eristhyne was destroyed.

History
Prior to the campaign
The then unnamed Eristhyne was in possession of the people of Lytrin, and authority of it was given to Denna.Arc 2 - Flames of Salvation
In the aftermath of the battle with Sulyvahn, the party waited for Lyxsas to arrive in Lytrin before Daine decided to announce to the party that he would be leaving towards Phindanshire, his hometown. He was promised a ship ride there by the guild Eckbert, someone they helped on their travel towards Lytrin, was from. After the party all decided to come with Deckie to his hometown, Denna gifted the boat to them as a sign of thanks for all they have done for them. Deckie true to his promise he made to Eris named the boat after her.Arc 3 - Pirate Arc
The party used the Erysthine to travel down the river from Lytrin towards the ocean to the north. They passed by a large city before reaching open water. On the way to Perondar, the group encountered a Giant Seal who they interacted with on the boat. They gave it food and it let them towards a shipwreck, fetching Goggles of Night which Deckie took in his possession. When the party arrived in Phindanshire, they docked the boat at the peer. This was noticed by Skibby who brought it up during the party at the Treebound household. After Milum and Pipui met the party in Phindanshire, they all decided to go look for the other members of The Brass Leviathan. They decided to take Milum's ship, the then unnamed Eristhyne II. The first Eristhyne was taken with them as it was managed by a few crewmembers of Milum, and followed closely behind the larger vessel. When the boats were docked in Bibia, the party returned with the body of Esbjorn, who they wanted to give a Viking funeral, as it is what he would have wanted. Initially Deckie intended on using the ship Esbjorn came with to Bibia, but the existing crew on that ship wouldn't allow for it. After a quick discussion with the others, Deckie agreed they would use the Eristhyne for the funeral. After saying their last goodbyes, Eris casted Scorching Ray to set the ship on fire with Esbjorn's body and possessions on deck.Additional information
Trivia
- The Eristhyne when it was first used by the party had it sails backwards for a few weeks, this is because the player of Deckie could not see the front of the ship from where his token was positioned, behind the mast, which perfectly obscured the front of the ship. Thinking the part Deckie was sitting was the front of the boat, he turned around the sails. In game this was explained as the reason why Deckie failed a vehicle check, who is proficient with water vehicles.
