B&T Chapter 11: The Trial of Sharpjaw

General Summary

• Balcazar (primal and coked out) runs off into the night, Stonius chases him
• After exploring the sewers, Balcazar found a dinosaur (Allosaurus). Him and Stonius ride it. Stonius discusses the contingency plan to kill Sharpjaw
• They make it back to the group; all but Fork are awake. The two compare notes
• Sharpjaw casts Speak With Animals (1st level spell) and both him & Nolya attempt to bond with the dinsoaur. Noyla succeeds
• Master Obu tried to wake up Fork, but he says "five more minutes"
• The dinosaurs roar at Sharpjaw as everyone figures out that he drugged them (Stonius ratted him out)
• A fight breaks out, starts with al Eldritch Blast from Balcazar. Hits Master Obu for 5 force damage and Sharpjaw for 6 bludgeoning. Sharpjaw casts Hunters Mark on Balcazar as this happens

• Draconius: pulls out a mystical whip and slashes with Ego Whip (4th level spell). Sharpjaw now has divsadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws, and he can't cast spells
• Master Obu: pops out of his shell, tells everyone to stop fighting
• Sharpjaw: tries to stop the fight, drinks instead
• Stonius: didn't attack, but spoke

Round 2

• Triple Flip Warden & T-Rex: Bites Sharpjaw for 38 piercing, Tails Master Obu but he tanks the tail
• Draconius: casts Minor Illusion and creates gold.
• Baclazar: casts Prestiditation on Warden
• Master Obu: casts Dominate Beast on the Warden
• Sharpjaw: Death Success
• Stonius: 21 damage to Warden

Round 3

• Warden deals 21 slashing damage to Stonius
• Draconius: casts Eldritch Blast but the warden tanks
• Nolya: gave 11 HP to Sharpjaw via Cure Wounds (1st level spell)
• Balcazar: cast Blight for 46 necrotic damage, killing him

Aftermath

• The dinosaurs are all friends; Sharpjaw is pissed
• Sharpjaw tries to explode think

Aftermath

• Master Obu is riding his T-Rex; Balcazar Draconius & Fork get in the carriage, the Allosaurus pulls it
• Leave behind Sharpjaw, Flurry, & Nolya for a group of Triple Flip reinforcements looking for the stolen gold, but not before Balcazar leaves 1 gp of Fool's Gold in Sharpjaw's pocket
• Draconius comissioned magic armor from Master Obu
