Gaion

Gaion is a world where the magic of the Elder Gods governs the entire existence of its people. The four Elder Gods, Gaios, Aurovi, Denothis, and Prophius, came to exist when the planet formed, and fought for domain throughout the prehistoric age. With Gaios being the strongest Elder God, the other three formed an alliance and destroyed their brother, concentrating his magic of the Gaioforce into meteors and hurling them back to the planet. In the era that followed, the Elder Gods bore children with mortals, who would later ascend their mortality and join their ancient parents as Gods. The Gods and Elder Gods engaged in a brutal war for control, one that wiped various civilizations and lifeforms out in droves. In the end, the Elder Gods destroyed themselves and brought on the Divine Extinction, sending massive waves of their magicks rippling through Gaion and its divine realms. With the world in pieces, the surviving Gods and the Aurans (beings imbued with the Gaioforce) used their gifts to help reconstruct the world and build new civilizations from the ashes of the old. However, these new civilizations have struggled with each other in similar ways as their ancestors, leading many to wonder if history is repeating itself...
